Vaginal Rejuvenation

What is laser vaginal rejuvenation?

Laser Vaginal Restoration, colloquially known as Vaginal Rejuvenation or Virgin Rejuvenation, is a minimally invasive laser procedure that is performed to restore and enhance vaginal laxity, correct postmenopausal vaginal dryness, lichen sclerosis, and urinary symptoms.

Why do women decide to do virgin rejuvenation surgery?

Many individuals choose this procedure in order to avoid surgery, yet still to be able to enhance their sexual pleasure following childbirth. It helps to improve vaginal atrophy with dryness and pain with intercourse.

What is the process like?

Vaginal rejuvenation is performed by using laser beams, the Diva, to restore the external and internal genitalia of a female.  Following Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, the vaginal tissue will restore its collagen levels that have decreased during menopause. This rebuilding of the elasticity of the vagina, in turn, helps to reduce vaginal dryness and improve symptoms relating to pain with intercourse.

When can I have sex after vaginal rejuvenation?

Patients may return to regular activities a few weeks after the procedure, and they may return to work immediately.

Do I need general anesthesia for vaginal rejuvenation?

This is an out-patient surgery, so a vaginal restoration procedure is typically performed using local anesthesia.

How much does virgin rejuvenation cost?

Laser vaginal restoration costs about $1,000 per session; the results vary, but most women need 1-3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Maintenance is recommended as 1 retouch yearly or 3 in 3-5 years. This makes it a less expensive alternative to surgical correction.
