Peel Better And Feel Better

Many people wish they could simply peel away their imperfections to reveal healthy, fresh skin. With chemical peels in Westlake, you can.

Chemical peels work to treat many skin concerns—whether it’s for wrinkles, dull skin, or an uneven skin tone. By removing the top layer of skin, also known as the epidermis, your body will take the time to heal and reverse any concerning imperfections.

What It Treats

How It Works

Chemical peels work by applying a chemical solution to your skin, causing a controlled injury where your skin starts to peel away your epidermis. To help heal the injury, your body increases your natural production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen and elastin are the two proteins that rebuild and strengthen your skin’s cellular structure. After your peel, they will work to heal your skin, correcting many skin issues at once to leave you with fresh, smooth-looking skin.

Benefits

Chemical peels offer numerous benefits for your skin, but these are the main reasons our clients love their chemical peels.

Treatment Planning Tool

The Chemical Peel Process

Step 1: Consultation

Your first appointment at Well Westlake will be a personal consultation with one of our expert providers. You’ll meet directly with your provider to discuss your aesthetic concerns and your medical history, which will help determine the treatments that will make up your custom care plan.

Step 2: Treatment

When you arrive for your chemical peel in Westlake, your provider will begin by cleansing your face. Then, they will apply a topical chemical solution to your skin, allowing it to be absorbed by your skin throughout your appointment. This will cause your epidermis to peel over the next few days, revealing smooth, fresh skin. Once neutralized, our provider will apply our medical-grade moisturizer and SPF.

Step 3: Recovery

There is no downtime or recovery needed after receiving a chemical peel, so once you are done with treatment, you can return to your day as normal. We ask that you do not wash your skin within the following 6 hours, make sure to use plenty of moisturizers to ensure your skin does not dry out, and drink plenty of water. Moisturizers can also help with flaking and itchiness. Always remember to use SPF.
