Your journey begins with a 30-minute discovery session, where we take the time to listen and understand what’s troubling you. From there, we’ll gently guide you toward next steps—whether that’s future appointments, specialized testing, or a personalized plan designed to support your well-being.
Functional health in Cleveland is a transformative approach that goes beyond managing symptoms to reveal and heal the root causes of concerns. Instead of masking illness, we focus on gently reversing it to restore harmony and vitality from within.
With a deeply holistic lens, functional medicine considers every aspect of your well-being—physical, emotional, and nutritional—to craft a personalized plan designed for lasting wellness.

Treats The Root Cause
Functional medicine is especially helpful for chronic or complex health concerns. It takes a whole-body approach, aiming to uncover the root causes rather than just manage symptoms.
People often turn to functional health in Cleveland for support with digestive issues (such as IBS or food sensitivities), hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, autoimmune disorders, fatigue, weight and metabolism concerns, mood challenges like anxiety or depression, skin issues, allergies, and more. It’s also an excellent option for those who want to focus on prevention, healthy aging, and overall wellness.

Natural
If you seek to address your health concerns without relying on medications, functional medicine provides natural, personalized pathways to healing.

Personalized
No two patients are alike. Through precise testing, we uncover the root cause of your condition and craft a personalized plan to restore balance and promote true healing.
Receive personalized recommendations and find the best treatments that will help you accomplish your wellness goals.
This 30-minute session allows us to explore your symptoms, outline a personalized treatment approach, and ensure we are the right fit for each other.
Next, you’ll complete your intake forms and a 3-day food journal. During our first meeting, we’ll review your information, determine if any testing is needed, and provide a testing kit if appropriate.
During this visit, we’ll review your test results and craft a personalized plan to support your journey toward optimal health and balance while identifying areas where lifestyle modifications could make a meaningful difference.
You will meet with your provider monthly. While most programs span 4 to 6 months on average, every journey is unique, and we tailor your plan specifically to your needs.
After your treatment, we still meet periodically to nurture lasting balance and address any evolving needs on your journey with functional health in Cleveland.

Functional medicine utilizes a wide range of diagnostic tools—from standard bloodwork to specialized at-home kits such as GI Mapping, Organic Acid Profiles, and Cortisol Stress and Hormone testing—all processed through advanced laboratories.
Each treatment plan is highly individualized, and no two care journeys are the same, so the testing you undergo will vary depending on your specific concerns.
The timeline for your progress depends on what concerns we are addressing, your overall health, the nature of your symptoms, and their duration.
Because every journey is unique, some people may feel results quickly, while others wait longer to uncover and resolve the root cause. Functional medicine doesn’t simply treat symptoms—it restores balance by addressing the underlying cause from the ground up.
Medications are seldom prescribed. Functional medicine centers on lifestyle and dietary guidance, with carefully selected supplements used only as needed.
When appropriate, your licensed NP can provide prescriptions to complement your personalized wellness plan.
Program length varies based on your symptoms and overall health, though most journeys span around 6 months, with some plans extending longer as needed.
Once your condition has improved, periodic check-ins every few months are recommended to ensure you continue on the path to lasting wellness.
Depending on your concerns, we have both options available.
