Happy Romance Awareness Month! 💕 As summer winds down the fire is just getting heated between you and your significant other.
Check out our ten date night ideas to add a little spice to your regular pizza and movie nights. 🥰⬇️
Take a Hike
Bask in nature while you get some good walking exercise. Make a home-made picnic before you leave and bring it with you.
Coffee (or tea) Tasting
Buy your own and taste at home or find one with help your local barista.
Mini Pizza and Movie
Create mini pizzas the size of cookies with dough made from scratch, and then spice it up with a flick from a different culture, like a K-drama or Bollywood movie.
Make a Fort with Candle Light
Gather a few blankets and hold them up with chairs. Put pillows underneath to make it extra cozy. Finally, add candles or string lights.
Cookoff Challenge!
Find a new recipe you each have not made before, and see who’s turns out the best.
Wine and Paint
Either find one or make one at home with your own wine (or drink of choice) and paint from your local craft store.
Dance Class
Switch up the status quo and try something you’ve never tried before – together! A quick online search will help you find where to go.
Take a Class
Enrich and stimulate your mind to learn a new subject together – even if it’s basket weaving 101 at your local library.
Roller Coaster Park Tour
Find different roller coaster parks (there’s many!) and take a whole weekend to explore and ride many parks.
Explore Somewhere New
Drive for a while to a general destination and explore where you end up. Example, pick a day to head to Lake Erie and explore when you get there.
Street Food Festival
There are many local cultures around major cities – you just have to do a little research beforehand and then go and explore. For example, check out the wonderful shops and restaurants in ChinaTown, Cleveland.
Bonus: Capture moments on a polaroid camera and make a scrapbook together reminiscing on your past wonderful moments.
Overall, do what brings you and your significant other joy. By spicing it up, and breaking the status quo every once in a while, it helps keep the romance fresh and happy for both of you.🥰
